Kylie A. Brandt, LMHC

PSYCHOTherapist

Kylie grew up in a large family and always wanted to better understand family systems and the roles we play within them. Throughout her childhood and teenage years, she had a lot of challenges personally and with family.

Minoring in psychology in college to better understand her own experiences, Kylie developed a deep passion for the study of psychology and aspired to one day practice in the field. Understanding that playing a supportive, empathetic role in the lives of friends and family was a big part of her identity, she knew she had a greater calling to help others, which led her to apply to graduate school programs in mental health to begin the journey of becoming a therapist.

Kylie is an integrative psychotherapist who strives to meet her clients where they are and provide a supportive and safe space for self-reflection and exploration. Her clinical approach is grounded in various treatment modalities, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure with response prevention (ERP), mentalization-based therapy (MBT), mindfulness, family systems, and interpersonal and psychodynamic therapy. She is passionate about working with patients with various mental health challenges and has experience working with individuals with mood, personality, trauma, anxiety, and developmental disorders. Kylie’s special interest and expertise are working with individuals, couples, and families where diagnoses are co-morbid and high-risk issues are prevalent.
