Ashley Corasaniti, LCSW
Psychotherapist
I am a dedicated and compassionate licensed clinical therapist based in New York, with over four years of experience working with diverse populations in New York City. I earned my Master of Social Work from Fordham University, building on a strong foundation from my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Syracuse University. My academic background and hands-on experience have shaped me into a well-rounded therapist, committed to supporting clients through various challenges.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to offer a holistic and nuanced treatment plan. I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges such as work and school-related stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, ADHD, learning disabilities, anger management, oppositional behavior, and trauma-related issues. My focus is on enhancing interpersonal and communication skills to foster resilience and positive well-being.
Understanding that each individual’s journey is unique, I embrace an eclectic approach to therapy. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all solution and strive to tailor my methods to fit the specific needs of each client. My goal is to collaborate closely with you, exploring various techniques and therapeutic styles to discover what resonates best and fosters your healing journey. Whether you are navigating complex emotions, seeking support for life transitions, or striving to overcome personal obstacles, I am here to provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for growth and healing. Together, we will work towards achieving your goals and enhancing your well-being.
